Jeff Gunhus
Executive Officer, NSG
Jeff attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he studied political science and economics. He is the author of the career guide NO PARACHUTE REQUIRED, released nationally in 2001. In his free time, he can be found hiking, fishing or at a coffee shop in Annapolis working on his novel. He lives in Maryland with his wife and two sons.
Spencer Pepe
Executive Officer, NSG
Spencer graduated from the University of California at Riverside with a degree in business. Professional achievements: 1998 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and finalist again in 2001; managing partner in the mortgage banking firm, Platinum Capital, which ranked #10 in the Inc 500 for America's fastest growing companies in 1998. Spencer currently is managing partner in AMTEC Funding Group which is his second banking start up. Spencer and his wife Xaviera live in Chino Hills , CAa and enjoys climbing, whitewater kayaking, fishing and mountain biking.
Jason Reid
Executive Officer, NSG
Going from painter to owner, Jason’s career with the company spans sixteen years. He is also the CEO of Codeit, a web development firm based in California. Jason is involved with TEC as well as YPO. In his spare time he runs, plays guitar, cooks, and recently received his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Jason and wife Kimberly have four children.
Matthew Stewart
Executive Officer, NSG
Matthew was raised in New Mexico and attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he studied political science and history. Matt currently sits on the Board of Directors of Share Ourselves (a charity based in Orange County). Matthew is also on the International Board of Directors for the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. In 2002 Matt won the Orange County Business Journal's "Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award." Matt has twice been a finalist for the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year award. Matt with his wife Jill and two children, lives in Southern California, and enjoys fishing, boating, skiing, scuba and travel.
Tracy Meneses
Finance Manager, NSG
Tracy earned her BA in Human Development from the University of California at Riverside and her MBA from California State University, Fullerton. She has created the financial controls and systems for NSG, but she is most proud of her other two creations, her sons Zachary and Nicholas.
Nancy Meloni
Chief Financial Officer, NSG
Nancy received her CPA while working with Arthur Young in Orange County, CA after graduating with a BA from Cal State Fullerton. She came to NSG after many years of experience with corporations of various sizes, and is proud to be a new member of the NSG team. A native Californian, she enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and riding her "trike" with her husband and two daughters.
Chris Thomson
Head Coach
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Chris graduated from the University of Toronto and won a National Team Championship in Swimming in his final year. He started as an intern in 1984 and has stayed full-time passionately improving his craft within this business ever since. Chris was a co-founder of New Image Painting the Authorized Service Provider for painting services for Home Depot across all of Canada and many areas throughout the United States. Chris is happily married with three children. He enjoys golf, squash, mountain bike riding, skiing and outdoor activities.
Taylor Duncan
Executive Vice President and Vice President, CWPILL
Originally from Chicago, Taylor started his college career at the University of Wisconsin where he played both football and track. After winning a Rose Bowl with the Badgers he returned to his home state and attended the University of Illinois graduating with a degree in Finance. Married to Sandra in Jan '06. In his spare time he travels internationally, golf's, and wrestles with his two dogs.
Dan Green
Executive Vice President, CWPOR
Dan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Agricultural Science from Oregon State University in June 2001. He earned National District Manager of the Year honors for two consecutive years with CWP. Dan was recently engaged and plans to be married in the summer of 2006. He enjoys staying active and attending major sporting events. He has a passion for guiding and developing those who work around him.
Justin Koski
Executive Vice President
Justin Koski is a Michigan State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Justin has been with CWP since 2000 and has headed two divisions of College Works Paintings. He is currently one of our four Executive Vice Presidents.
Johnny Rhee
Executive Vice and President
In his career, Johnny received the California Manager of the Year award as a 17-year-old freshman. He graduated from UCLA in 2002 with a degree in Business and Economics and minors in both Accounting and Computer Programming. Apart from his work, he enjoys playing the keyboard, writing and boxing.
Jed Albiston
Vice President, CWPVA
Jed is originally from Utah where he attended the University of Utah. Six years ago, he moved his family out to Virginia to help start up the Virginia/Maryland Division. Jed's favorite hobby is spending time with his wife and playing with his three kids. He also enjoys doing some real estate, playing ping pong, participating on a league volleyball team, and yes, even enjoys doing a lot of the cooking.
Brian Conant
Vice President, CWPSCA
Originally from a small town near Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Shaun currently lives in Lehi, UT with his wife and two kids. He received a business degree from BYU in 2002 and has enjoyed seeing his division grow over the past couple of years. Shaun is looking forward to many years with College Works Painting and other entrepreneurial ventures.
Gabriel Cooley
Vice President, CWPNCA
Gabe attends UC Davis and will be graduation with a Sociology and Managerial Economics major. He holds the company record since 2003 of the most produced as a manager with over $252K in one season. Gabe looks forward to continuously breaking records and raising the bar. He enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, Mountain biking, traveling, and anything people say he can't do.
Josh Daniels
Vice President, Arizona
Josh grew up in a small town in Oregon and attended Portland State University for business management. Before joining College Works, Josh worked two jobs to put himself through school, while also staying very active in sports and other campus clubs. He moved to Tempe in 2004 to take over the Arizona division. His favorite hobbies include running, biking, swimming, lifting and just getting outside!
Lulu Deng
Vice President, Pennsylvania
Lulu is originally from Michigan where she graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a degree in Political Science. In her spare time, Lulu enjoys trying exotic foods with friends and traveling the world. She has just joined YEO (Young Entrepreneur's Organization) Philadelphia chapter and plans on growing the Pennsylvania division to one of the largest in the country.
Carl G. Dice
Vice President, Oregon
Carl was born in Nampa, Idaho. He moved to Ashland, OR when he was 18 to pursue a lifelong dream of playing football at a collegiate level. While at Southern Oregon University his team won two Independent Championship Titles (2001-02). Carl graduated in June of 2005 with a degree in Business Accounting and a minor in Economics. Carl enjoys spending time with family and friends. His passion is Fishing. His hobbies include golfing, traveling, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking... Really anything that is outside and challenging both physically and mentally.
Aleksandra Magdziak
Vice President, New England
Before taking over Massachusetts/New Hampshire division, and adjoining Connecticut and Rhode Island, Aleksandra obtained Bachelor of Science in International Business from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. She was born in Poland and moved to United States at the age of 16. Currently she is working on tripling the size of the company in New England region. In her free time she can be found in a boxing gym, where she is training for her amateur fights. Her biggest dream and goal would be 2008 Olympics.
Shaun McMurry
Vice President, Utah/Nevada
Originally from a small town near Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Shaun currently lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and daughter. He recently finished his business degree at BYU and looks forward to running Utah and Nevada this year.
Scott Miller
Vice President, Texas
Scott graduated with a bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Originally from Houston, Texas, Scott is living in the northeast building the Pennsylvania division. Scott enjoys playing lacrosse, USTA tennis, and playing basketball at the neighborhood courts. You can also find Scott in some regional and national commercials with Nike and Randalls.
Troy Patrick
Vice President, Washington
Hailing from Elk, Washington, Troy attended Western Washington University where he studied finance and psychology. He gave up his stock market pursuits to follow his true passions: teaching and mentorship. A member of the Western Washington Young Entrepreneurs Organization and MENSA, he also enjoys skiing, golf, and world travel. Troy and his wife, Ingrid, reside just outside Bellingham, WA.
Justin Shultz
Vice President, Colorado
Before buying the CWP division in Colorado, Justin majored in Philosophy while attending Colorado University. Despite his rigorous school schedule, he was Vice President and co-founder of a bathroom remodeling business. Justin's hobbies include skiing, hiking, playing the regular Nintendo, and 4x4ing in his Jeep.
