College Works Painting

College Works Painting is a college internship in Hartford. Via the College Works Painting internship college students get the unique opportunity to run their own house painting company in Hartford while still in college. College Works Painting has two sets of clients – exceptional college students looking to jump-start their careers and homeowners in need of house painting. We’re determined to exceed all of our client’s expectations. Since our inception in 1993 we have provided homeowners with outstanding house painting services and we have given college students a once-in-a-lifetime leadership experience. If you read the success stories from College Works Painting alumni you’ll learn that many have thought College Works Painting to be the most difficult – yet rewarding – experience of their life up to that point. Running a business is no easy task and neither is delivering a top quality paint job. For these reasons we invest a lot of time and resources properly training our interns. Our intensive training programs benefit the interns and homeowners alike. After our thorough trainings interns are capable of running a business and providing quality painting advice and services to our clients- with the help and support of our leadership team at College Works Painting, of course.

At College Works Painting college students learn every aspect of running a business. Learning begins in a classroom type setting and then continues out in the field. Various techniques are taught to our interns and best practices are shared amongst the team to ensure continued growth and success. For instance, various marketing strategies are taught and practiced. Our student interns will market door to door, pass out fliers at grocery stores or even at their Thanksgiving dinner table, and will attend the occasional home show. At College Works Painting interns learn how to run a business firsthand, which is in part the reason for their success.
