College Works Painting

College Works Painting is a college internship in San Jose, California for students attending San Jose State University and other local schools. Our goal at College Works Painting is to deliver a world-class leadership experience to college students by teaching them how to run their own house painting company. This goal is in addition to providing homeowners with competitively priced top quality house painting services in San Jose. We believe a great deal of our success stems from our extensive training sessions which take place regularly throughout the entire program. Our trainings cover several topics such as painting techniques and proper business practices. Success is best achieved through the support of a team. For this reason, our trainings promote team work. During our intern development trainings several group exercises occur. The group exercises are designed to help the interns push themselves further and generate advanced business ideas that will help the entire group become more successful. This benefits the interns and homeowners alike.

Although College Works Painting is a competitive internship where our interns strive to be the best, we have created a culture where our interns help their peers to become more successful. Interns will help each other during trainings in San Jose or they’ll even call a fellow intern outside the state to discuss best practices and get extra advice. A strong company culture is extremely important to the success of any business and we teach our interns the value of culture and team work firsthand. As a result, the interns develop extremely strong bonds with each other. They become a united force. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see a group of interns wearing matching shirts during the first night of the Top Performers Awards trip in October. The matching shirts represent team unity and illustrate that they didn’t become a top performer on their own – their teammates helped them get there.
