College Works Painting is an EPA lead certified, OSHA regulated, fully licensed and insured residential house painting company. But we’re more than just the average painting company, we’re a college internship. College Works Painting has been providing quality house painting services to homeowners while teaching college students how to run their own house painting business since 1993. With College Works Painting you can support your local community by helping Wyoming college students prepare for their future all while receiving the benefits of working with a major house painting company.
College Works Painting is committed to providing each client with an exceptional home improvement experience. Each college student painter goes through an extensive training program. During training we focus heavily on customer service. With College Works Painting you can expect thorough communication, consistent follow-up and definite follow-through. We believe our dedication to providing excellent customer service has led to our 97% customer satisfaction rating.
College Works Painting paints to enhance your home’s appearance and to protect your investment as a homeowner. We understand that your home is likely your largest and most valuable possession. We approach each paint job with this in mind. Our house painters apply the right amount of energy toward the pre-painting preparation of your home to ensure the paint job lasts. In addition, we use top-of-the-line paint products such as acrylic paints. Acrylic paint is designed to protect your home from climate conditions which should help alleviate the need to spend unnecessary monies on future home improvements.

At College Works Painting we understand how difficult college life can be. The pressures of exams, required classes, papers, and maintaining a high GPA can be overwhelming. Naturally, many college students attempt to escape the pressures of college by relaxing during summer break. Avoid doing this. Each summer during college should be spent working to prepare for the job market after college. With the job market as competitive as it is today the only real way to prepare for it is with a job or internship during summer.
However, just any job won’t cut it. In order to successfully compete in the job market after college you need a job or internship in Wyoming that will teach you legitimate skills that can apply to any job in any industry. An internship that has you scanning paperwork or pouring coffee will not give you the skills needed to land a job after graduation.
Here are some things to consider when seeking an internship while you’re in college:
Will it be a good cultural fit?
What is the track record of the supervisor and trainer?
What will the job functions be?
What is the industry recognition of the company?
Will the internship advance your career by offering real experience?
The College Works Painting internship helps college students prepare for their career after college by teaching them practical skills that apply to all industries and job positions. College Works Painting interns learn, firsthand, every aspect of running a business. As a College Works Painting intern you will manage your own crew of house painters, interact with clients, oversee paint jobs, and manage the profitability of your business. It’s an intensive internship that will push you out of your comfort zone and will ultimately propel your career.
